What's In Your Data? How New Storage Architectures Reduce Security Risks

Lunch Sponsor: DataGravity, Inc.

Description:
With the unabated growth of unstructured data files, both legal departments and law firms continue to grapple with the challenge of making sense of all that data. Whether it's finding and protecting relevant documents from modification or destruction in support of litigation, assessing the risk of intellectual property leakage or proving compliance to data security and privacy regulations, legal teams are in a constant struggle to determine:

  • What data they have
  • Where it is located
  • Who accessed it
  • When it was accessed and modified
  • Why this content is important to their case or project

Join us for an overview, demonstration and case study of how law firms are using a streamlined data-aware storage solution to simply and seamlessly help answer these questions by embedding this intelligence into their on-premise IT infrastructure without incurring additional cost or overhead. During this session you will learn about:

  • Current technology challenges of data
  • Unstructured data and the unique challenges it poses
  • Hidden risks and opportunities in this data set
  • Data-aware technologies that monitor and glean insights from the data being stored
