  • Still use tapes?
  • Utilize a co-lo?
  • Utilize SAN replication?
  • Handle DR/BC on-premises or managed (as a service)?

Our local CenturyLink office is generously providing a meeting location and lunch, and some of their DR/DRaaS sales engineers will be on hand to contribute to the discussion. This will not be a sales meeting, but CenturyLink will be available to assist anyone with their DR/BC solutions.

Note: Attendees must register in advance so that security passes can be prepared.

Master Data Directory: A Necessity for Streamlining Workflow
Start Date: 7/23/2015
End Date: 7/23/2015

Master Data Directory: A Necessity for Streamlining Workflow

Lunch Sponsor: Intapp

Description:

Workflow is a hot topic in law firm tech right now, and for good reason: market pressures are forcing firms to focus on efficiency and cut operational costs. The challenge IT faces is developing a strategy that streamlines operations while overcoming issues associated with data being scattered across multiple systems and applications -- and without a common data architecture, it is nearly impossible to standardize processes and optimize the use of firm resources.

See how a master data management strategy can mitigate these problems by reducing complexity and the resources needed to deploy common legal back office processes. We will provide an overview of master data directory (MDD) within a legal firm and discuss:

  • Common challenges and how to overcome them
  • Real world workflow examples of MDD helping process automation
  • How to build the business case

Presenters:
Mark Bilson
is the Head of the Integration Practice at Intapp, focusing on designing and delivering solutions that streamline law firm IT and business operations. His specialties include enterprise integration architecture systems and methodologies. Mark's project experience spans from tactical IT projects including automation of user on-boarding and new business intake processes, to strategic undertakings such as implementing information governance and master data management solutions.

Justin Mitchell, the Customer Success Manager of the Integration Practice at Intapp, works with firms to help them obtain greater business value from the Integration Builder platform. He advises on methodologies and best practices for the product, trains firms and their staff on its use, and collaborates on new development efforts. Justin has extensive experience with integrating and automating processes involving cloud based systems and overcoming the challenge of web services.

Our speakers will discuss best practices for legal holds, custodian interviews, collections, privilege reviews and productions to reduce the pain involved when your own firm is in litigation.

Webinar Speakers:

Dana speaks frequently on a variety of records and information management topics.

Caroline Sweeney, a member of the senior Information Services management team at Dorsey & Whitney, is responsible for the delivery of the firm's e-discovery services. She is a member of Dorsey's Electronic Discovery and Privacy and Social Media practice groups, and has extensive experience consulting with attorneys and clients with regard to e-discovery. StealthWatch features include:

  • Network Behavior Anomaly Detection (NBAD) - Establishes normal baselines for every host/use; alerts for suspicious behaviors deviating from normal
  • Internal Visibility - Primary telemetry source, NetFlow, is ubiquitous in many environments and allows for visibility internally in the network, not just at the perimeter; sees every unique conversation
  • Storage / Scale - Because of the data source the tool is using, a large amount of historical information is retained in a form easily utilized when researching an incident forensically or in real-time
